What is the Rolling Social Party Bike?

You can choose from a variety of Rolling Social Tours on which you share memorable experiences with friends, family, co-workers, or complete strangers as you discover Detroit’s best-kept secrets and favorite local establishments.

It’s the perfect way to gather together and celebrate birthdays, corporate outings, family reunions, church outings, Lions, Tigers, Redwings, and Piston pre-games, or just because!

When can i ride rolling social?

Rolling Social can be taken from 9:05 am to 11:00 pm

When should I book rolling social party bike?

You may book a ride the same day.

How many people can ride rolling social party bike?

Minimum 5 and Maximum 15 people.

Do you have to book the entire bike?

ROLLING SOCIAL PRIVATE TOURS: If you’d like to reserve the entire Party Bike, please book a private tour of at least 5 riders and a maximum of 15 riders.

ROLLING SOCIAL PUBLIC TOURS: If you are in town for the weekend or just looking to get out the house the individual seat tour if for you. This tour only requires purchase of 1 ticket or more similar to a concert venue. 

Who drives the bike?

We will always provide the driver, or captain, who will drive, operate, and Navigate the Party bike and will steer you to a good time!

Is there music?

Yes! You’re the DJ, you bring the music, We supply the high quality sound system.

Can i drink alcohol on the bike?

Yes, you can drink on Rolling Social Party Bike. We are BYOB, but with following restrictions.

Alcohol can only be brought on Rolling Social Party Bike if every rider on board is over the age of 21 years old.

Only beer, wine, and canned cocktails is allowed on our bikes.

No Hard liquor or No Glass is allowed.

Who can ride the bike?

Everyone can ride. If you have a person under 21, you must purchase the Private Ride and have at least 5 people for a tour. If there is a minor on board, there can be ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL onboard the bike. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

What should i bring with me?

Government-issued ID– Every rider must bring a government-issued ID and present it before riding. If under 21 must be accompanied by an adult and the adult must sign the waiver for the child.

Proof of Signed waiver– Every rider must complete a Liability Waiver before riding. We strongly encourage you to fill out your waivers electronically before arrival.

Bring Ice (we provide a cooler and cups)

What happens the day of our ride?

THE POINT CONTACT/BOOKEE, the person who submitted the booking, will receive an automated text message from Rolling Social Detroit on the day of your ride with specific instructions in regards to meeting time/location, our BYOB Alcohol Policy, and Liability Waiver Forms, It is the person booking the tours responsibility to relay all information to the rest of the party as Rolling Social Detroit has no way of contacting the other riders.

Tour Start and End Location:

The BELT – The Belt is a culturally redefined alley in the heart of downtown Detroit.

We will pick you up at the entrance of The Belt on Gratiot Ave. (near the corner of Broadway). Address: 225 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48226 (in front of The Standby).

It is strongly recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early so you can enjoy a beverage and a bite to eat before your tour is scheduled to begin.

Refund / Reschedule Policy

Once a tour is booked it is non-refundable (no exceptions). If you need to reschedule for any reason you give a call of your tour for a store credit. (Based on Availability) 

Should i tip my driver?

PLEASE! OUR STAFF WORKS FOR GRATUITY.

They make a living off of your generosity. That’s how they take care of their families and four-legged fur babies.

So while it is not mandatory, our staff works extra hard to make sure you have a great time as your generosity is their livelihood.

So at the end of the ride when the tip jar comes around and you’ve had a blast, don’t be afraid to show them some cash! (We’ve also got Cashapp/ Venmo!)

Is parking available?

There is parking avialable at the Z Garage B 231 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48226 and Parkwiz  across from the Belt 251 Gratiot Ave Detroit, MI 48226. And there is also streeting parking. 

 

Can i decorate the bike?

Yes (Private bookings only)! Decorations can be hung anywhere on the bike with the exception of covering our Rolling Social Detroit website. We recommend zip ties, rope, or string for attachment methods. We don’t supply any zip ties, rope, or string for attachment methods. We don’t allow tape as duct tape or glue removes the varnish from the bike and scotch tape is not strong enough to hold.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! You can purchase gift certificates for any dollar amount. They’re great for birthdays, work outings, or even for donating to charity auctions to generate funds. Just contact us at 248-313-8714.

Weather Policy

A weather cancellation can only be determined by the company. Weather-related cancellations will be determined on the day of the scheduled tour only. If it is raining the tour will still go on as scheduled. If the weather is severe the company will contact you within 2 hours of your tour and provide you with a store credit which you can use to book another tour in the future.

Intoxication Policy

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE FOR YOUR TOUR INTOXICATED. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RIDE AND A REFUND WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.

  1. Must be respectful of other tours and pedestrians.
  2. Complete the waiver prior to your date.
  3. Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
  4. Do not arrive for your tour intoxicated (we cannot allow you on board).
